This will be our first IT T-shirt Project being carried out by E-Learners. The design is complete and we are collecting some information from IT students in order to proceed with printing. The T-shirt is expected to be distributed to all IT students on May 2009 session onwards. We will select a day (weekday) as our "IT Day". During that day, all IT students are required to wear the T-shirt. The main objectives to introduce the "IT Day" is to bring all IT students closer as a team and at the same to cultivate a strong identity among all IT students at IICP. E-Learners hope that this project will be successful one.

Testimonial from Alumni

The DIT program at INTI has benefited me by giving me a greater understanding of the trend and direction that I.T is taking in this day and age, giving me exposure to some aspects that i would otherwise have not known anything about. The program includes a wide variety of subjects that gave me a chance to discover what would interest me the most and pursue it. Currently it has helped me in starting my own business as it has given me knowledge of e-commerce, which helps me get a head start. I would recommend this program to anyone with an interest in computing.

Testimonial from DIT Alumni

Ang Szu Jen

University: University of Portsmouth, United Kingdom

Course: Bsc (Hons) Computer Science

Computing has been my interest since young but ever since I started my first computing lesson in INTI International College Penang, enrolled under Diploma of Information Technology (DIT), it has changed my perception on the course. A rather technical course has been fun with the effective way of teaching by the friendly lecturers. I once feared that I would not be able to cope with the final year units in Bsc (Hons) Computer Science if I choose direct entry into Year 3, skipping Year 2. However, I was proven wrong. The basic skills and knowledge that I gained in INTI are adequate to graduate with flying colors. Apart from that, the subjects taught were relevant and applicable to the working environment too. There was never a better decision I made to pursue DIT in INTI

Computing Programmes at INTI Penang

At present, School of Computing and Information Technology is offering two viable programmes.

Diploma in Information Technology (DITI)

Bachelor of Commerce 3+0 Business Information System in collaboration with Curtin Univesity of Technology

Upon completion of Diploma programme (DITI), students can continue to Degree programme (Curtin BIS) from Year 2 onwards.
