IICP Dota Competition 2010

IICP Dota Competition 2010 taken place on the 20th to the 21st of March 2010, at Sungai Ara FTZ ,Asia Cyber Cafe.

Day 1 (20th March 2010)
20 PCs had been rented for the day and each of the PCs have taken the 5 hours package, in which every PC will be charged RM 6 to be used in the 5 hours time frame. The total cost of computer rental for Day 1 is RM 180.

There are in total of 9 teams that will be coming to participate in the competition, with each team consisting of 5 team members. Every team are required to play two games against teams that are in their respective groups, any teams that win both will automatically move on to the semifinals, any teams that wins a game and loses a game, might have chance to move on to the semifinals, and any teams that loses both games will then be automatically eliminated from the competition. The Competition started at 2pm in the afternoon and in the end of the day, Team 300 , Team NoName and Team TTFU won two game and moved on to the semifinals, while the best 2nd placed team of each groups, that is Team CBs, will be the forth team to join the other teams to form the final four to participate in the semifinals.

Day 2 (21st March 2010)
There are in total 4 remaining teams that will be participating in the semifinals and finals. The competition started at 10am in the morning. In this stage, the teams have been randomly placed in any of the slots of the semifinals. The package that had been used in Saturday, will not been used for the semifinals. 20PCs will be opened for the 4 teams to play and the rental fees will be counted by the time usage of the computers. In the first round, there will be 2 games commencing.

Any teams that wins their game, will automatically move on to the final, any teams that loses their game, will automatically be placed to play in the 3rd placing playoff. Team 300 and Team TTFU have won, and have proceeded to the final. While Team NoName and Team CBs played for the 3rd place playoff. For 3rd place was won by Team CBs. For the 2nd place was won by Team 300 and the winner of IICP Dota Competition 2010 is Team TTFU.
